Ballayan, Dr. Mona

Dr. Mona Deddah Ballayan was born on October 26, 1977 in Monrovia, Liberia to Dominic and Sarah Ballayan. Mona was all about family and believed individuals should "Seize the day for tomorrow is not promised" and to "Live each day like it is your last."
Mona grew up in Palm Bay, Florida and attended Palm Bay High School. She graduated from the University of South Florida with an MD, which she then went on to practice Family Medicine. Mona was an honor student and received a lot of awards throughout her academic career. She spoke five languages and was highly intelligent.
In Mona's spare time, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, anime, manga and eating Sushi.
On March 29, 2023, Mona peacefully passed away in her home in Dallas, Texas surrounded by family and her two beloved pets Luna and Yuki.
Mona's family will carry on her joy and loving spirit including her parents Dominic D. and Sarah K. Ballayan; siblings Romeo Jesus Ballayan, Dominic Degan Ballayan; extended family and friends, Breonna Ballayan, Tyreek Ballayan, Sarah Ballayan, J'Vontre Bailey, & BearBear; loving pets Luna & Yuki Ballayan. Mona is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wedor Kollie, Samuel P. Kollie, Dominic D. Ballayan Sr, Agnes Kollie Ballayan.
